Guides for this region: [Wild camping and bivouac in the Vanoise](/guides/wild-camping-bivouac-vanoise/) · [Using HutScanner with ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants](/guides/ai-assistants-and-hutscanner/) ## Planning a route through Rifugio IL TRUC Booking one hut is the easy half. The work is the chain: every night needs a bed, at a hut you can walk to from the one before, on consecutive dates, and one full night sends you back to the start. From Rifugio IL TRUC there are 7 onward huts within a day's walk, listed above, inside an Alpes-grees-et-Grand-Paradis network of 39 huts. HutScanner searches that network for a sequence that works on your dates, rather than leaving you to try the huts one at a time. Rifugio IL TRUC books online but publishes no calendar HutScanner can read, so a route through it is planned around the 15 huts in Alpes-grees-et-Grand-Paradis that do publish one, and this night is confirmed with the hut itself. [Plan a multi-night route from Rifugio IL TRUC](/app?region=alpes-grees-et-grand-paradis&hut=hut_7167). If you plan trips through ChatGPT or Claude, they can run this same search for you without opening the app, over the regions HutScanner has reviewed by hand. How that works is described in [using HutScanner with AI assistants](/guides/ai-assistants-and-hutscanner/), and the endpoint is documented in the [OpenAPI spec](/api/openapi.json). ## Something wrong on this page?
