Guides for this region: Using HutScanner with ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants
Planning a route through La Ferme des Louiqs
Booking one hut is the easy half. The work is the chain: every night needs a bed, at a hut you can walk to from the one before, on consecutive dates, and one full night sends you back to the start. From La Ferme des Louiqs there are 5 onward huts within a day's walk, listed above, inside a Mercantour network of 15 huts. HutScanner searches that network for a sequence that works on your dates, rather than leaving you to try the huts one at a time.
La Ferme des Louiqs books online but publishes no calendar HutScanner can read, so a route through it is planned around the 3 huts in Mercantour that do publish one, and this night is confirmed with the hut itself. Plan a multi-night route from La Ferme des Louiqs.
If you plan trips through ChatGPT or Claude, they can run this same search for you without opening the app, over the regions HutScanner has reviewed by hand. How that works is described in using HutScanner with AI assistants, and the endpoint is documented in the OpenAPI spec.
