At most one email a month, about which huts have space
The same data the planner runs on, sent no more than monthly so you know when to book rather than finding out in August.
What arrives
The availability picture. Which regions still have beds on the popular nights, which are filling, and where the quiet ground is. It comes out of the same daily sync the planner uses, so it is the real state of the network rather than a guess.
New regions, first. When a region pack goes live it is in the next letter before it is anywhere else.
What changed in the planner. Short, and only when something actually changed.
What does not
No weekly mail, no gear affiliate links, no sponsored placements, and no passing your address to anyone else. One a month is the ceiling, not a schedule: if a month has nothing worth saying, nothing goes out. Once in a year there may be a second one, if something happens that will not keep.
Why you might want it
Alpine huts on the well-known stages fill months ahead, and the moment they open their season is the single most useful thing to know. That moment moves every year and no hut announces it in one place. Reading a short note every few weeks is the cheapest way not to miss it.
Signing up
You give an email address, nothing else. There is no account, no password and no profile: HutScanner does not have user accounts, and this does not add any.
We send you a link to confirm before you are added, so nobody can put your address on the list but you. If you never click it, the request is deleted within a day and nothing is stored.
